Complaining about dealers

I've been posting the goings on at various dealers in the SF Bay Area on this thread. I'm pretty pissed off at this one sales person who flat out lied to me about the availability of the car and I'd like to complain about him.

To whom should I complain? Mazda USA? The GM of the Dealer? Will I accomplish anything by complaining?

Try speaking to the GSM (general sales manager) if you don't get any satisfaction there try the GM or the dealer principle (owner)

I sent an email to Mazda USA and the Sales Manager of Putnam Mazda.

I really don't expect to accomplish anything. If they have good customer service at all, they (Putnam) will call me back and offer me a great deal on the car. The thing is, there are 10 other dealers in the area. Why would I patronize one who has already lied to me?

EDIT: Mazda USA wrote back and said the dealers are independently owned and operated. Implication is that they will do nothing.
