Finally got it

Picked up 04 red mt gt for 24,800 w/ the Gerber rebate. Very excited with the overall look and performance of the car. Turning heads on the streets of NYC.

MAC does it again with their horrible apr 6.9%, but I plan to refinace with my credit union at 4.9. How long must I wait before I can refinance the car?

Congrats, read your contract on the specific question. Did you need to bring in an ad for the gerber rebate or just the e-mail?

waiting for the Gerber rebate to be sent. Dealer told me that I would have to go through Mazda, but that they would sign off on it. They said just to bring the email.

Congrats on your purchase Cromero55. I'm sure you will be turning heads for quite a while in this car. I got mine last August, and I still get looks around town.

If you are on a conventional financing with MAC, there shouldn't be any pre-payment penalty, but like czr mentioned, I would read all the fine print, and maybe call MAC customer service.

diabolical rx8,

Did your 8 come with $5000 cash in the trunk? 32K for your 8, I would probably not admit that since the realistic retail is only about $23K now
