Since Mazda is (mostly) owned by Ford, do Ford employees get huge discounts on Mazdas as well?

Real good friend of mine is a GM to a Ford dealership but I want an RX!
(new mustang was tempting for about 2 seconds but then I returned to my senses...)

Are there any programs for things like that or does he just have to pull a few strings at the nearby Mazda dealership?

E-Plan for Mazda employees = Below invoice

I know they can get them on their lease scheme. A friend of mine did order it and received it the week he actually was transfered to a new position in Germany.
So I guess they can also get the Ford Employee discounts if they decide to buy one. They already have discounts on Volvos.
You won't get one if your not a Ford full employee.

Ford-majority-ownership-full control of Mazda functions. They seem to leave Mazda alone for the most part.

 

My dad used to work for Ford, so we got the S-Plan pricing on my RX-8. My almost fully loaded RX-8 with the GT, appearance and rotary accents sticker was somewhere areound $33,000, S-Plan lease price was around $25-26k. It's the only way I can afford this thing!
