Thanks for the info. When you say the VIN status is strange, what exactly does that mean? And what do you mean by a "returned" car?

its VIN Status is not normal it should be "W-x" where the X is a number. for instance if your warranty was voided it might say "W-5" . however the car you asked about is 5- RDR-VIN which is some thing im not familiar with although i have seen it 2 other times recently. One suggestion was that this vin status may be applied to Buy Back cars that are later sold back out(after the proper inspection etc) from the Ports to dealers as Certified Pre-Owned vehicles. but that isnt confirmed.

It would be strange for a Buy Back to not have the Recall done (actually nearly impossible) but it could a repo car or some reason that it was returned to the dealer. In fact i believe if it were a Buy Back it would show as a Lemoned Car on the Carfax
