How much did you pay?

For when you purchased your new RX8, before taxes and reg. Like what was your mark down from the sticker price?

Wow! What rebates were you able to get? I was there this whole month and they told me there isn't any rebates. :[

I paid $24,850 for a new '09 R3 two weeks ago (April 7). Took me several days to get the ear-to-ear grin off my face!

...and I probably could have negotiated a better price than that, but it was all done by phone because the dealer was almost two hours away.

I believe there is about $5500 in dealer incentives on certain leftover '09s. Hell of a bargain if you can find one.

Good lord, that is an excellent deal. I wasn't able to find anymore '09s so I'm stuck with the although newer and nothing really different 2010. The dealing price right now is 29000 cause there isn't any incentives.

yeah the price was the last straw in me getting this R3 over an Evo X, other than that i liked driving the RX8 a lot more. And I got some paint protection thing and wheel damage insurance and an extended bumper to bumper warantee thrown in. Needless to say I'm very happy and i saved $11K over the Evo X I was looking at. People scoff at the lower mileage, well how much gas could I buy with $11K? with 11K i could get a used VW diesel, have lots left over for gas, AND still have my R3.

The R3 is a beautiful machine. I just wish that mileage was better, but it isn't enough to stop me from getting my love!

They're quickly becoming very scarce. When I bought mine, a nearby dealer just outsider of Chicago had a black one and the dealer in Wilwaukee had a blue one. Best I could tell through internet searching and pohone calls, those were the only two new '09s within 500 miles of Chicago. The closer dealer shot me a price over the phone of $26,000. The blue one in Milwaukee gave me an over the phone price of $24,850. It was a little bit if a ride, but blue had always been my preference.

If anyone is considering a new 8, it's definitely worth trying to hunt down a remaining '09, even if it costs you a few hundred bucks in airfare to get it.

I could not agree more. RX-8s in general are just plain sexy!

I'm so jealous you guys got excellent deals! I'll be getting my car the 2010 R3 within a month at 29000+taxes/reg(socal tax /sadface). It's making me anxious everyday, but I got the patience. :]

$28.6K for my '10 R3. It was a no-haggle dealership so they weren't in the mood to give me a better price. It's ok, I feel like I did alright with it - sticker was around 33.

$20,900 for an 09 R3 with 7000 miles on it. I haggled a LOT to get this price. When you have immaculate credit, dealerships will bend over to get you into a car. It's almost guaranteed money for them.

The only drawback was, to get this price - I had to settle for a 5.9% finance rate. It kinda pissed me off since I am not used to pay so much, but I usually pay off my cars within a year or two so it doesn't matter. (I had 3 new cars since 06.)
