How much did you purchase your used 8 for?
Hey,
I thought there should be a thread similar to the other one about the purchase price of a new 8, so here it is. This should help inform potential buyers as well as current owners about their car's general market value. For instance, I recently purchased the following:
2004 Sunlight Silver GT w/ 53,000 miles for $11,500. It's in pretty good condition, with the right taillight fogged up because of a gasket that needs to be replaced. The car was stock and bought last month in San Diego County. What about everyone else?

2005 Whitewater Pearl GT, all options except nav, perfect condition, well maintained, 8,500 miles, original date of purchase in September of 2006 (19 miles on the odo), so ~1 year more warranty than expected, purchased for $19,500 from a Mercedes dealer in Cincinnati Ohio via Cars.com on October 27th 2007.

06 Copper Red Shinka, bought it last week from a Mazda dealer in Wellesley, MA.
Dealer still had original window sticker, thing is fully loaded, had the aero package and rotary emblems stock on the window sticker. Paid 17K, car has 21K miles and not a scratch on it. A lot of interior trim still had the protective plastic film on it, so it was probably a lease before I got it.

Actually he is correct. The '06 Shinkas came in several colors, WWP was one of them. Of the Shinka colors, only Copper Red was not available to non-Shinkas, so it is often perceived as the 'True' '06 Shinka.

I had an 05 Grand Touring edition 6 speed manual. It spent more time at the dealership than at my house or the road! Finaly got tired of it and traded it in for an Infinity G35. The way I was treated at the Mazda dealership sealed the deal. Everytime I was told "we fixed it" just to be back days, weeks, or next moth the same thing and then new stuff. I wouldn't buy anything Mazda related. No wait I would buy a time proven RX7 the only car worth anything that they have built. But at least with the 7 I know what to expect.

Got mine 3 wks ago, for $13,500. It had a tad over 13k miles on it. '06 Grand Touring with black/red seats. Fully loaded, 6 disk cd/ Xenon lights, sunroof, Bose system (no nav)..the works. The only thing I purchase for it was a new set of tires to replace the stock ones, which looked very, very good.
I just ordered an AxialFlow short shifter and will purchase a new catback soon. I'm loving the heck out of this car.
