I just bought a brand new 2005 Mazda RX8, it has everything fully loaded except I didn't want a sunroof and leather seats. I paid 36,500!

Just to give you an idea I gave a person in NC a price on a 1GT car with the Appearance Pagkage and Rear Spoiler that had a MSRP of $33010.00 and a sale price of $25620.00 plus all taxes a DOT fee's . That is a $7390.00 in disounts and rebates and I can't beleave that she has not emailed me back .

I got my new 2004 (276 miles on it) in June '05 for $24,860 +taxes, etc. That was the sale price tag on it (normally 31,700) on the showroom floor. I didn't try to talk it down any further, since I didn't think I could anyway. It is a Red 6MT with 1GT package, sunroof and 6CD changer (no NAV).

Seems in 2003- mid 2004 they were $31,000
then the end of 2004 down to $24 - $25k (thats whn I got one)
now there are at 21-22k!!!

No wonder ford is lossing money and they are not posting any 06 models
can't give them away at any price.
What's next, 05 close outs of 2005 6sp mt touring for 19,999? Most likely! With
2006 models being 2005's with new paint job not a new 06

Pat - Was that the MAC cash, or some other dealer incentive?

When I bought my new '05 on September 30th, they had $1,000 in MAC cash, and $2,500 in other incentive cash available to the dealer.

I got a silver '04 GT 6MT with Nav, spare tire, 6CD, and spoiler in March '05. Paid invoice minus a $2k rebate from Mazda which came to about $29k. I put $3k down and I'm paying $450/mo. Writing that check every month hurts, but I feel better every time I hit the gas...

bought mine in march 04 had 7 miles on it .paid $30,000 out the door cash loaded with every option.a good rule of thumb for a car payment is $100.00 for every $10,000.00 that will get you pretty close.

How does a fully loaded '05 Grand Touring 6 Speed with 7000 miles, a few scratches and scuffs for $25000 compare?

I think ArExAit was saying the car with options has an MSRP of ~$32,000 and he got his for $26,450, which isn't bad for new.

Is that before tax and all the other B.S. ArExAit???

Exclamation Good Prices Out There!

Just an FYI. Jim Ellis in Marietta (Atlanta) is selling all '05 RX8's (and most other '05 Mazdas) at 25% off MSRP. Picked up GT MT today! Said offer only on until November 19, but who knows?

For Grand Touring, no other options except floor mats, MSRP was $31,685. I paid $23,764 plus tax, tag, and $399.99 "dealer fee". I also added 19 in axis hiro wheels with pirelli tires (235/35/19 fr, 270/30/19 rear) but that was another deal. . .This price was the lowest by far that I could find.

Bought my '05 GT 6speed in Oct. '04 with 6 miles on odometer. Price was $33,750.00 I walked out paying around $30k cash(tax, title, license included). Not much wiggle room since it was an '05.
