Jmal I got the same exact deal, a little too close. If you feel the price is right, and theres no problems with the car go for it. The dealership didn't tell me though my clutch was replaced so ask about any big or minor problems. But the price is a good deal and they won't last, I had the same price same model just no navi. Good luck

the white one looks nice. I'm buying a silver 04 w/ 31k miles for $18.3k but it'll need new tires in a few months so add another $600-800 for the new rubber. so that price for an 05 with super low miles looks great. The (used) dealer I'm buying it from is having all services done by a Mazda dealer under warranty b4 I buy it. I heard to ask that the "ECU flash update" be done, which (I think) involves getting a new starter, battery and updating the ECU for better mileage, etc. - not sure if the flash update applies / is necessary for an 05 or one with such low miles. good luck and keep us posted.

I feel this one was a pretty good deal. 3,500 miles. MSRP on an 2005 Sport Package is like $28,000 and I got this one for $21,325 shipped to me (tags and fees included.)

Well, I sent out the check and signed documents yesterday via FedEX express and I should hear from the dealer today when the car will be shipped to me...hopefully on Monday. That would be so sweet...because I am off work.

Good Deals on New RX8s
In Southern California the deal of the day is $7000 off sticker on 2005s. A 2005 with all the goodies is $33,183. I just paid $21,800 for a used 2004 with the grand touring package plus all the appearance goodies. I am very happy with the car but.........

I used to sell cars...18,000 miles, that little ding, and the lack of aesthetic accents (pretty stuff) make the car worth less than you're gonna pay. I'd do what the other guy said and just buy a new one. If you're gonna finance a loan like that, might as well go all the way and get one brand new. Besides, do you really know what all has happened to that car? Some mechanics are better than the dealer, and don't report ish to carfax or anyone else.. Just a few things I thought id put into your mind for thought..

Well, I actually changed my mind about halfway through this thread...I am getting a White 2005 RX-8 with Sport Package with only 3,500 miles on it. It was a great price and only had one true owner before me. Thanks for your advice though...
