Wow...
After reading the posts on this forum I'm starting to feel like I have the highest monthly payment of all the members on this site. If you all dont mind, post your montly payments and for how long. Cash down? Lease or Finance? etc...
Thanks... I'll post mine once I read a few of you all's. This thread will either make me feel a little better or make me cry
Thanks to everyone who participates in advance!!

$29,110 once. That was $1800 off the sticker. Bought on April 10, 2004. I couldn't negotiate very hard, walking away from the deal just wasn't going to happen!

The highest monthly 8 payment? In Singapore, 8 owners take the blue ribbon...cost for FE32 6MT is SG$132,000 (US$80,000), with an average down payment, finance charges over 7 years at SG$1,500 (US$900) per month, and that's at 2% interest! Consider yerself lucky man

Well, so far I do have a higher payment than everyone who has posted minus the fella in Singapore. I guess what got me was the fact that my trade in was fairly new so they gave me a lot less than what I still owed causing the difference to be rolled over onto my rx8 payment plan. I'm doing $547.80/72 - grant touring, sp pkg, wing, leather, nav, 6sp.... every option minus the spare tire.

38900 paid in full (my dad already paid for the car it was a 39800 fully loaded) i pay him 600 a month for a 5 year (gotta love parents) So ultimately i only 36k back to my dad the rest he paid for. And not a day goes by where i dont love them. Right now im ahead on my payments by 6 months so yah im saving up for the m/t hopefully ican seal the deal by he end of this week ( i have the a/t)

Well, your situation is called "being in the tub" at a car dealership... You're trading in an old car before your equity caught up to the initial depreciation from "driving the car off the lot". So basically, you aren't really just buying your 8, you're still paying a little for your old car...

exactly.... which sucks, but I guess thats what I get for being so damn indecisive. I owned a pair of turbo DSMs before then I decided I wanted to get away from sports cars ... looked into the 8 but said ... nah not now. Got a jeep in jan '04 and owned it until oct. '04. Traded the jeep in for the 8 and now love it! Just sucks how my payments are way high! What should I do to ge them lowered later along the line? Say in a year or two...

I think I'll be ok. I plan on trading in the RX8 when my warrantee expires or gets close to it. I think by then the what I owe will be caught up to what its worth... or at least i'll be closer to it than what I am now.
