Mazda offering $3050 in rebates this July
I posted yesterday about Mazda having a $2,250 customer cash back offer but in my excitement at finding my car in their website inventory, I found another incentive! It is for another "$800 CLOSEOUT Bonus Cash on 2006 or 2007 RX-8" but is effective only this month. You'd need to go to the link to get a certificate by email. I think these rebates are even better than last year's deal on the '06s, especially that you don't have to apply for MAC to get the benefits, from what I've seen.

No installation charges on my upgrades- (Paid for - Full MS bumper and spoiler). Also got $4000 off the list price for the 2006 which I purchased in April and picked up in May. Almost forgot 0.9% Financing!!3yrs.

I was fortunate to get my certificate from mazda early in the game {BIG!!! Thanks to gundarx} so it was available for all 2006\2007 close-outs including the 8.

On another point, I have found 3 new '06s that are sitting on dealer's lots in this area (Louisville, KY). That is on top of the 20+ '07s...I think that bodes well for my bargaining chances!

I also found this site that mentions $4000 in rebates total for '06s...the info on 8s are at the bottom of the page.

Hmm...interesting. How would you go about getting that sort of rebate? If I could find some way to apply those rebates at another dealership I'd be golden :D But the rebates listed don't seem very official/backed by Mazda.
I wonder if there's still some way to get that damn $800 coupon. That's almost 1k off a new rx-8. I feel so stupid right now :/

It's very simular to the Mazda S-Plan ..... you get a pin to give to the dealer and then the savings are applied. You can only use the Pin# twice and that's it, but if FORD\Mazda discovers a dealer is abusing the program, it will be the doghouse for them. Dealer's get a percentage each time a rebate\incentive is used at their dealership .................. And few, if any, will want to jepordize that free money.
Just sharpen & work on your negotiating skills in the event the dealer won't touch unautheorized rebates.

I was in talking with a salesman a few days ago and he "mentioned" offhand that he thought there were $4-5k in rebates for '06s. The link I posted earlier validated that, at least to some extent.
Anyway, I'm hoping to get an '06 Touring for $22-23 out the door...I think I can do it!

Yea, I remember a year ago you could get a fully optioned RX-8 with everything except nav for $24,500. I wish I had put more thought into it then :D. I guess I'll be waiting until the 08's come and see what happens from there rebate wise. I'm considering buying used as well, just aren't that many options around where I live. Checking autotrader.com daily.
Also, might as well give it a shot...if anyone got a rebate just for the hell of it and has no intentions of using, hit me up please?
Thanks.
