Navigation as a dvd player?
I'm getting a 2004 grand touring (only wanted touring, but that's ok) and Navigation which I didn't want at all. I was wondering about using it for dvds (although I'm not sure why I'd want to do that, but I was curious. Then I saw a post here that the Navigation can be converted.
Wouldn't you just be able to put a dvd into it? But, then you'd have to push the sound through the cd-player. Has anybody actually done it? And, is it worth it? Who watches dvds while he's driving?

search the site - there are many threads on this topic. And no, you can't play a DVD on the NAV unit. You could watch a DVD while driving if you didn't really care about your car or your life.

You know, I'd really be interested in getting a percentage of new members who ask this same fricken' question. Seriously, if I have to pick one topic that has been beat to death by people who apparently refuse to search, this topic would get my vote!
