I have a theory that some dealers did not get some incentives, and the northeast "fair weather" season is later/shorter and dealers are just now seeing good weather and possible buyers. Perhaps here, the normal trend is to get increased traffic in the coming month, and dealers will wait to see if the normal trend returns and solves their inventory problems. I had one salesman say that he heard of huge reductions under invoice, but the owner was not willing to take a loss(he offered $2k under invoice).

I certainly hope to talk down a dealer in CO down, they are asking $36k for an 05 loaded, navi white, appearance, and I am going to pay cash and want $6k for my trade in. We will see how low I can get them down. Good idea on the finance idea though, never thought of that. I just hope it is still there in a few months when I return home!

We bought our last week for $26K, $7K under MSRP. Fully loaded GT 6sp without Nav and Appearance and some dealer add-ons. If you can get one for $22K, go get it NOW!! We absolutely love ours.

Cool. I have only seen two on the road here. No snow tires for us. Not enough snow days to warrant the cost. We are from Colorado and know to just slow down and take it easy.

If you drive in snow -- any amount of snow -- on the stock Potenza's, you're going to wish you hadn't. I don't care how l33t you are. If I lived in Texas, I'd probably stick with the stock tires, but never drive in any snow ever. Good luck.

I drove through 5 Colorado winters in an 81' 280 zx without snow tires. Although VERY squirrley, I got to where I needed to go. I just slowed down and didn't make ANY drastic movements. Besides, it snows for a day here then it is gone the next. I'm not worried about it.

It takes an ever so slight amount of snow - a dusting - to turn the stock tires into ice skates. I don't care how good a driver one is.
I've been there, done that, and will never again.
