new low
Saw a new low price for an RX8 today at the Bel Air Auto Auction in MD today...
$7700 and SOLD, for an 04 GT with 130k and repaired frame damage. Car started, ran and looked clean. Had tires with significant even wear and reasonable panel gaps, though, IMO the engine only had a few months or so, it acted sick...
For What it's worth. I was surprised the seller took the offer, they tried to start biddign at $10k.

Salvage title, 130K miles, coupled with the fact it's the oldest model year 8 and the seller wanted to start the bidding at $10,000
Glad the market proved him wrong, as any half-educated buyer out there knows that for the mid-teens a nice loaded, low mile '05 can be had.

Obviously not, i was simply reporting that that was in fact the least I have ever seen a running, cosmetically correct RX8 to sell for, nothing less, nothing more. It is abotu where I would have epected it to go. I was thinking it was maybe worth $9k, tops, nto that I'd pay that.
