Havent had a chance to TD the car again yet, ... counting the hours....

"This is simple: your seat was too high. Lowering it in a Shinka or GT has nothing to do with pumping a handle (that's something you do on your own time). There's an "L" shaped button you need to push downwards to lower the seat bottom. The front and rear of the seat bottom adjust independently. This will not be an issue for you, you were just misinformed. I can tell you definitively that you will fit just fine with a moonroof."

A button?? Or a lever that i push downward, cause i dont think you can push a button any other way. Is this like how a computer chair works? where to raise it i need to get up off it? or Is it electric?

Well the showroom car I had access to while the salesman was doing other things did not respond to moving that lever either. It was the lever that was closest to the front that could move up or down.
Lol.
Lol.

Was the battery disconnected? Were you able to move it fore and aft?

The problem was it was not an electric seat... you actualy had to pump the handle like he said but it doesnt raise or lower the seet. It was the sports and not the GT.
The dealer who had the Shinka and the GT that I wanted , and at a good price, were the worst humans ever. I wont deal with them period so no rx8. The other dealership out of 2 is the best experience I have had with anything! I love every bit of it, but sadly they dont have a very good selection of any car.
So Sorry guys! I was realy excited to be with you all, but I will prolly go with a Speed 6 GT. Its the only mazda availible that I like. I need to do further research on it, but If i buy a mazda thats the car I will get.
Thanks guys... Enjoy driving!

I asked, and they said they dont trade cars. I guess I could have them buy it, but It would cost me more though. Im trying to get ahold of a dealer outside my city to see what he has got. I didnt like the mazdaspeed 6 as much cause its just not as uniquely fun to drive. So Maybe when the 2007's come along I could order one to my specs.

And I called the city closest to me who has a dealer and they have a few but they are all standards.
I know I know, I tried the standard, and i just have no idea what im doing.. plus I dont like the extra foot work involved when I dont plan to drive fancy most the time.

Not ALL dealers have friendly relationships. I have also run into a dealer that had the car I wanted but did not deserve my business. I asked a dealer I trusted to just transfer the car and he said he couldn't because the two dealership owners were mortal enemies over some bad transactions in the past. He was able to trade with another dealer on a very similar car so I was happy.

But, hey, if you want to get an Automatic RX-8, more power to ya. Kind of a waste IMHO, and makes a not-very-fast car a fair bit slower.

Well i will not go with a mazdaspeed anyway. As for the manual rx8, when I took it for a test drive, the problem i saw with it was the cluch needs to be pushed in very far, and to gain head room, i have to sit back, so its a hard streatch.
Plus, i forgot thta I have to hold the break, while pushing the gas and the clutch... lol no wonder it would shoot forward and stall on me.
But Im not gettin it cause its fast, but a stylish cruser with good high rev power.
