I was just wondering how long it took you guys to get your RX8 from the time you ordered. Also did you buy through a broker or your home dealer?

Going through my local dealer.

I was told to expect about 90 days from the time the order was placed until delivery. Dealer took my email address as Mazda is supposed to update me along the way. I emailed their address from mazdausa.com with several questions. Part of their reply was that it typically takes 3 to 4 weeks before your order is assigned a VIN number (basically means they have built "your" car). Once that happens you will begin to recieve periodic email updates as the vehicle moves through the various shipment phases. I've been waiting about 3 weeks so I'm hoping for a notice soon! They also suggested checking with the dealer as they also get updated VIN information.
