QUESTION for NEW YORK BUYERS

As you probably know, Mazda does not lease cars in New York State thanks to the "vicarious liability" law being upheld by the legal parasites. Many of you probably opted for the "balloon loan" or so-called "SmartBuy" in lieu of a lease.

Could anyone share the details of this with me? Some of you must have gone this route.

I used a balloon loan. Payments should be close to what a lease payment would be, but a little higher because you pay more sales tax. Not all lenders offer such loans, and, of course, interest rates vary. If your dealer usually works with certain lenders, they can tell you which offer those loans. Or, you can shop lenders and arrange your own financing.
