What's your Monthly payment for your 8?

Mine is ... $778.xx That's including inshurance and taxes. Yes cars in PR are very expensive and they jakked me on the price when y boght it.

Anyway it's not a lease and I dont complain (I still smile every time that I sit in it).
Now I wanted to know what other 8's are going for around the world because my wife wants to move to Florida and we can't take the car unless it is payed for. So my options are, getting another sukker like me to take over the car payments, or getting a separate loan from my bank and paying off the rest of my car with it. This last option is highly unlikeley because even thogh I have great credit much of it is compromised by other loans and credit lines. Damned cards :-)

If anyone has other alternatives for me to be able to take my car they would be apreciated.

Where are you moving from? That you can't take a financed car with you? You said "move to Florida" not "move to the US".

Loaded 2004's with GT Nav are going for around $24K

Puerto Rico is a comonwealth of the United States but not a State It's an island south of the US Virgin Islands.
It totally sucks but I think it's BS from the bank here in PR

$610 x 60... That's the car payment only. Insurance is another $130/month. Yeah, I know I got screwed. Got the car in Sept '03 before many dealers were willing to give 'em up at good prices. It was my first new car purchase and I didn't do much research. I let my emotions get to me when making the purchasing decision. Never again.

You must've had a nice down payment or trade in.

Dunno, that's just the way it was set up for us. We have automatic withdrawal from our checking account.

I just got mine 1 month ago. I still have to post pictures of my old miata and the new 8 anyway...

I pay 400 a month for 48 monts. I pay insurance 6 months at a time (1200) so its about 200 a month. all in all I pay about 800 a month for the car, insurance, gas ect. so the car costs me about 25 bucks a day to drive. but I love it!

I bought the car (2005 RX8 Touring 6spd, no dealer add-on's) I got the car for 26 out the door (plus tax, title, ect), I got 7k for my 1999 miata (85k miles, modded to crap, no a/c, no heat, no radio, ect) so I lucked out on that! I put 3k down in cash and got a 1k GMAC rebate and 500 mazda owner loyalty. I am a 21yr old student, never any accident history, but i get speeding tickets like a ***** (although I never had any points on my licence).

The miata I bought used 3 years ago. It was the first car I bought, and my dad co-signed with me. thanks to that I was able to get the RX8 myself!

Took a year but its soooo worth it.

for those paying around 130 a month, what kind of coverage do you have? what carrier? and what age?

like I said im 21, no accidents, 2 clamis (someone backed into my last car (miata) and they counted that against me) and 1 time the windshield was replaced) but I get speeding tickets all the time, 4-5 a year on avg, most of the time they at 15mph over or less. and I always contest them and get stuck with a fine and trafic school, but no points, so I am not sure if that affects the insurance much. I get a good student discount. I am the only person on my policy and I have full coverage 300/100/50 stacked, 500 deductable thru progressive

You'd probably save about $50 bucks on your premium if you just pay them all at once..

I don't know what I pay per month for insurance right off hand, but I know it's less for my Shinka than it is for my 95 Eagle Talon TSi AWD. That's what you get when you buy a four door sedan......yah, right, I think it's a sports car. Handles just as good as my Talon, if not a little better.

My payment is 380 for 5 years but I pay 500, that was with 0 down. My insurance is super cheap though, $89 a month with State Farm, That is for full coverage and no deductible. And it was even cheaper when I lived in Atlanta.

My payment is $392 a month for 60 months at 4.5%. I only pay $78 a month for insurance. No accidents or speeding tickets (at least that what the insurance company thinks for now)

With CDN $1300 down plus first lease payment I am paying CDN $525 per month (about US $425). Insurance is $1500/year (about $1200 US). This is for an '05 GS on a 3 year lease.

My Shinka bought 4/28/05 with all major options except Nav I got for ~$32,800. I was a little upside down on my trade-in so that added up to my $660/month payment. I got back on my insurance because I'm paying only ~$1000/year and in South Florida that's pretty cheap.

I pay 638 and change a month, but I was way upside down and not happy in the last car. Insurance is about $70 a month, when you divide it out. Full coverage, low deductible too. State Farm, Married, 28, no scars on the driving record for 10 years. Cheapest insuracne of my life. At 18 my 81 accord beater was running me 130 a month for minimum coverage.

Base Model 6speed. 24 months, 15k miles/year lease payment is $411 a month with almost nothing down. I will be paying about $480 a month for 3 years after I buy the car in 2 years.

Got mine in Nov of 2003. 6 Speed sport package. Traded in a 2000 Suzuki Grand Vitara...at the time I owed $15K on it and they gave me $7700 for it. I put $3500 down and financed the rest. I financed $30,200....$512 a month for 72 months.....plus $171 a month (10 payments a year) for insurance. I wish I could have seen the future and waited for a left over 2004...could have gotten a blue one I set out to get in the first place for a lot cheaper. But then again the Grand Vitara's trade value was dropping like GM stock....
