Motor Mounts!

I'mma firin' mah lazor!!!
From teh deadlies!
Sorry for the thread necromancing, but after having these on the car a few years problems have began to rear their heads about 6 months ago. I've sheared off 2 Grade 10 bolts flush in the block from the passenger side mount along with the original hardware, as well as stripped the stud in the subframe almost exactly like Munchy. Also, the mount has warped and is now pressing into my oil pan like Munchy's but much worse.
Munchy, if you read this thread, what did you wind up doing?
I've been running these on a daily driven RX8 for ~3 years now or so, maybe more. Probably a dozen track days and multiple passes on them as well. To be honest, they've been one of my favorite mods until the problems began to start. My car lives a pretty rough life (I take good care of it, but I drive the ***** off of it, as it should be IMO) so the wear and tear on my mounts isn't exactly surprising, but the way they are warping is a serious concern and shearing bolts off flush in the block is getting REAL old.
I recommend that if you have these mounts, and shear a bolt just once, it's time to take them off and revert to stock. Also keep a close eye on the bolt that goes from the passenger side mount to the subframe, because if that stud strips out you're gonna be up **** creek. I think it's just a design flaw in the mounts themselves to be honest. I hammered mine back to true twice, and have replaced the bolts 3 times now and the issues just get worse and worse. Now the car is down until I can pull the motor, repair the subframe, drill/back these broken bolts out (again) and get a new oil pan on the car.
Thanks, Obama

i found another style of solid mounts that is the same design as the rubber ones. has anyone had luck with those or are solid mounts in general not the way to go?

Back from the dead..thread.
I'm considering selling my 8. She's been great but at 117K and a steady 18mpg, it is time.
The RR motor mounts haven't given me any headaches but the resale of the car will be lower so I need to go back to stock mounts. It has been years and I can't remember if I need the oem mounts and the brackets or just the mounts. I think it is brackets+mounts but if anyone can help clarify, I'd appreciate it.

Any one have any word or experience with Race Roots new version of motor mounts? I'm interested in em, they seem good considering the body's steel constructed and they used Energy suspension poly bushings. I know quite a few people on RX8P mounts and these seem similar so for the lower price tag why not.
