365 day Rx8 REW build.

Update:
The car was at the Dyno (Beyond Redline Performace, Green Bay, WI) for three weeks.
They tuned anything and everything. Its amazing what the AEM Infinity can do. The AEM has full control of the Drive-by-wire throttle body and it is just as responsive as a cable throttle body. They tuned in my Flex Fuel sensor so I can run anything from 91 pump gas to E85 and everything in-between. I don't have to do anything. Just simple add in the E85 and the ECU adjusts tune and boost levels accordingly. Also. Boost is controlled with Throttle position %. So instead of "High" and "Low" Boost. The ECU will read Throttle % and give boost accordingly.
For example. Max boost @ WOT is 20PSI. But if I give it 1/2 throttle the ECU will regulate to a preset boost level. So 10 or 15 PSI. Same goes for 1/4 or 3/4 throttle. They also tuned in a "Clutch Switch" and "Brake Switch"
Clutch switch allows for Launch control / 2-step. This utilizes VSS
Brake Switch allows for me to essentially "brake boost" but with full boost. I have not tried out these features yet.
The cars runs, drives, and idles amazing. But we did run into a boost creep issue. So horsepower was not able to be tuned. Only drive-ability. Basically how my single 60mm wastegate was routed was causing boost creep. I brought the car home and pulled the manifold out and rerouted my wastegate(s) I added two waste gates and got rid of the big single. Back to the Dyno I go!
Pictures to follow.

Neal says he hasn’t been on the forum since forever, and the build is at 4,380 days now, so just going to share a few things he told me
early part of last year he got a new Garrett G40-900 turbo setup, conservatively tuned it was low 5xx whp and high 4xx ft-lbs
.
which he just recently did the new hot air intake and some larger injectors, should be rocking the kazbah in a couple of weeks following a tuning session.
During late winter-early spring of this year he beat me to the punch with the installation of the Hotel7 7-spd BMW DCT transmission, CANTCU controller, aluminum driveshaft, and PPF delete setup
.
.
along with a new full 3.5” exhaust exiting out the side in front of the RH rear tire
.
should be a real track monster after the new dyno tune …
may the Schartz be with you!

The DCT swap is very exciting! Cannot wait to get on track with it.
I should probably also add that since my latest activity on the forums, I have put a full cage in this car with seats and harness. Bladder Type Fuel Cell with internal surge tank and brushless pumps, all new fuel lines, cooling upgrades, and a New Haltech Nexus R5 with full re-wire. I may have a photo dumb and a video for you guys I can share.
Dyno is scheduled for next week, first track event in June.
Next upgrades will be Brakes, Coilovers, and Carbon Roof.
In the meantime here are a few of my socials

Wow, amazing work. Great pictures. I would be worried to push that on a track its so beautiful. I really wish i would have extended my built to apex oil pain to increase the oil capacity a little. Oh did you design the front lip and rear diffuser? If not where did you get those pieces.

hey thanks! I actually did crash the car :/ it’s mostly fixed. It’s a race car now…
I built and designed the front splitter myself.
the rear diffuser is form Faircloth. Custom mounting points.
