Swap to end all swaps

Renesis out... REW in
iTrader: (3)
I've had the car for about 4 years with no issues. Decided that I wanted better response and always wanted a top mount so it was EFR time.
So i completely redid just about everything under the hood in my REW swap.
I even pulled the engine, opened it up for a refresh even though she was running great but I figured since I was going that far that I might as well start at square one.
For my new top mount setup was going for a certain look and built it around that.
Is it the best? don't know but everything works like stock and she runs great.
And most importantly It's how I wanted it.
Can't wait to see the finished product for this thread.
Steve.

I have a few questions since i am going to go with this swap within the next couple months - years (whenever i can afford to do so). I will say that i have not seen most of the videos on this swap yet. What type of coil's/plugs/wires would be best for this, also lifespan? If purchased fully swapped for me, what parts should be upgraded (for example a better radiator?)? Basically i am looking to see what should be done and/or used to make sure that this lasts as long as possible?

As far as coils, the ls1 coils seem to be popular and do very well. AEM smart coils are also an option but much more expensive.
Read through the threads. Questions you don't even know to ask yet will be answered.

I have another question or two for whoever can answer. I don't mean to bulk up this forum page with my crazy noobish questions but i figured my questions directly relate to this build. I am going to have Carlos build me one with 500hp+ and for that he is going to swap for the Rx7 transmission as well (the RX8 tranny cant handle it). My first question is can the build handle the occasional Nos usage? I have no idea how strong the 13b is and if it would just destroy the seals or not. I am looking to buy it mostly to be the coolest track car i can imagine (I Love this Car!). I am just really excited for this build and I plan to have her for generations to come!

Definitely not vaporware. I am contacting a local 3D scanning and fabricating company to get to work on the molds for the aluminum parts that will be included in the kit including the elbow you can see being fabricated in the last few videos.
I know these videos are long and I plan on putting together a compilation video shortly covering the highlights of the entire build for those of you who don't have the time or patience to watch 15 plus hours of videos.
We had a long hiatus there but we are back on track and pushing forward at a furious pace. We look forward to hooking you guys up with a drop in plug and play set up real soon.
I just uploaded a short (11 min) video of Eric's Turbo RX8 FD swap. His build keeps the stock radiator in it's original position which should be fine for this type of power. He says the temp never went over 195 even on the dyno.
I would get rid of the plastic reservoir tank as it is a weak link in the system. Pettit just sent out an e-mail blast talking about the bottles and offering an aluminum replacement. Well worth the investment whether you are keeping your RX8 NA or going Turbo.
You guys have a couple of options now. Eric hasn't put together a kit yet, but I have been talking to him about doing one based on his design. I will keep you posted on that.
Here's the Video on Rotarywerks version of the Turbo RX8 FD swap:

So much for "plug and play" swap and "direct bolt in" which he kept repeating in his earlier video's. I was genuinely curious in this kit (and still might be depending on price) but there is so much modification that have been done and extra's that are going to be needed - there is no way this kit will be anywhere near as simple and financially economical as he made it out to be.
Here's hoping we are all pleasantly surprised.
