Crappy LED Parking lights!!
#51
i'd stay away from any led bulb that has multiple leds on it. I used many different bulbs in my previous cars from superbrightleds.com and the 4-led and 6-leds are the ones that burnt out first. the single leds are still working fine, but are not as bright....
Anyone have any led parking lights hold up to the engine bay/ headlight heat? if not i'm going to go old school and just get super white halogens again. lol

Thank you Laythor.
Got rid of the uber shitty Rotary FX crap yellow fogs and LED parking lights bucked out for some HOEN yellows (installed ) and City driving lights (not installed yet). Best $40.00 I have spent thus far. Shitty pics but they look great in person.

So i've read through this post and have been scared away from going to RotaryFX for my parking lights. I'm gonna go to VLEDs, but a few of you said you have interior LEDs from Rotary, how are those holding up? Cuz I want to redo all my interior lights with the hyperwhite LEDs and don't feel like shelling out like $70 for lights that'll last me about as long as a tank of gas =p

the second pic isn't working so i can't see the parking lights, are they LED? how nice do the fogs look in person when coupled with HIDs? Cuz I definitely want to get yellow fog bulbs and was considering getting LEDs in the city lights but like i said before i'm scared to trust RotaryFX now haha

Sorry I can't find my second pic but the Hoen city lights are not LED they are just regular bulbs but have a blue coating that makes them white somehow. My Hoen bulbs are going strong.
My rotaryFX interior lights are still working but honestly they don't get used that much since I don't drive a ton. But I have the fog light mod done and I drive with my headlights on when I drive so they get more use.
Grungepup just got a nice set of parking lights from VLEDS. They looked very high quality and the color and brightness is perfect.

I bought corners from Rorarycrapfects about 6 months ago. My left started flickering after about 2 months and then the top half died so it still looked ok and then the right started flickering and now they both are completely dead but hey, no more flickering. I still dont see a clear answer for good LEDs that wont go out guaranteed. I might try the VLEDS for the corners and parking lights but if it doesnt work, im goin back to stock. i also want some brighter fogs but i dont want those hoen yellows that 9K has...just brighter ones.

I've only heard good things about rotaryfx. They've been here forever. I ordered from them on my first rx8 I had before I sold it and they have good quality parts. If you're really having trouble just call their customer service. I just ordered the gasket kits, LED tail light with resistors, HID bulbs and day time lights as well as interior LED's. I'll keep you posted but I have no hesitation in using rotaryfx as far as customer service is concerned.
