You guys should have gotten derwankel's rear rotary lamp when he still made them.
It was some 80 bucks (shipped), looks totally OEM and fits great. Plus he had a version that fits with the OEM rotary symbol and one that is without the rotary emblem.
Pity he stopped making parts for the RX-8.

It's going to be a little bit more of a do it yourself kit than the former version, so it's looking like we're going to be able to offer it at a significantly less price... hopefully as low as $59.99.

I have the OEM rear fog light with the wiring spliced to the brake light wiring. And yes it is expensive, mostly because of the fog light wiring harness that I didn't need But I was able to sell that so the cost ended up less than $100.

i doubt it, all cars have reverse lights in different locations, once ppl see a clear bright light light up i dont think it'll make a difference, but i think itll look kinda tacky anyways with a clear lamp in the back
