$968 Car wash?!
Went to a car wash today (made sure it wasn't a brushing automatic car was) and got a pressure wash. After I got done I had minor scratches all over the car... Turns out the dealer had touched up some scratches and the pressure washer pretty much undid their work or lack thereof. Could I take the car back to the dealership and try to talk to them? Its already been 8 months since I bought the car so its probably already too late to grief them over it. And now what should I do about the scratches.
I immediately drove to a body shop that my cousin works for and the best price they can give me is $968 to repair every scratch on the car. Should I get it done right or touch it up like the dealer did and just wash my car with sponges like I did before today? Could I possibly get it fixed for $970 and give the dealer the bill? They obviously touched up quite a few minor scratches...

If they are in fact minor like you say, they probably can be buffed out with a rotary buffer.
Also too--no point in going to the dealer. Touch up paint is not meant to be a permanent fix. It kinda falls into the category of maintenance...just like washing your car. Would you go back to the dealer because your car got dirty and yell at them? I think not. Try a professional detailer first before you drop a grand on a repaint. Car will lose value with a repaint anyways.

Dealers will do whatever is a quick fix to sell a car before sending it to a body shop to have it fixed correctly. I'm not surprised that this happened to you. Hopefully the scratches are not down to the metal and the detailer can help you out. GL man, hope it all works out!
