Explain to me how someone can leave a fork lift with a broken parking brake running in a parking garage with other vehicles around
You can guess what happened next. I was sitting at my computer when a company wide e-mail went out saying "Would the owner of a Grey Mazda RX-8 please come down to the security desk with your keys" I though I just had to move it. But no when I got there they took me out to my car and there it was with two huge gashes in the passenger door
The contractors are of course assuming full responsibility. They apologized and promised to cover everything, even a rental. If this isn't bad enough I have a track weekend which I have paid for next weekend. I told the contractor about this and he said if I can't get a refund they will cover that as well. I fully trust them since they have a multimillion dollar contracting gig with my company that I am sure they don't want to lose.

Sorry to hear this. Hey at least it's not another hit & run. Good luck with the repair. Do a little research and choose the best body shop you can find within 50 miles—regardless the price.

While it is an inconvenience for you, at least the contracting company will take care of everything. That's much better than other people who have posted their accidents so count yourself among the lucky (as far a accidents go 
)

They actually took the car off on a flatbed. It's in their lot and they promised to have word for me by tomorrow. Like I said they have a huge contract with my company, the head guy said the car will be like new. I also spoke to our facilities director, he assured me that if the car is not like new he will have them do it again. This really sucks but at least their taking car of it.

if you find out in the next couple days that you can't get it fixed in time AND if NASA doesn't want to refund your money for the weekend let me know. Maybe we can work something out where I can just buy your slot. I haven't signed up yet. Been meaning to do that all this week.

That's like I almost rear ended a bread truck because his brake lights were out(he was stopping in the middle of the road from 50MPH to avoid hitting.. a poodle..)
He didn't understand why I was so angry when I got out and asked him if he knew his break lights were out and goes "uh, yeah they've been that way for a long time". I don't usually get road rage but I'll be damned if I didn't want to kick out his headlight right there and then.

I got a call from the owner of the contracting company. First he appologized for calling so late, it was around 9:30. He told me I can be sure that my car will be back to normal and that he is truly sorry for his workers stupitity. He actually used those words. Anyway it turns out he co owns a few used car lots, he offered me a choice b/w a 2005 G35, 2005 M3, or a 2004 S2000 for me to use untill my car is fixed 
I opted for the M3. They really want to retain the contract with my company, it also doesn't hurt that they are also bidding on another jog with my company. I must say for a bad experiance, it is turning out to be nmot so bad.

Sounds like a company I would recommend for contracts in the future if they follow through on their promises.
