04 Rebuilt....wont start
Ok, I have done my best not to have to start a new thread but.....I am at a loss. I rebuilt my motor myself and now I can't get it started. I have done all the typical stuff and it all checks out, ie:
Good compression (not physically tested but getting loud "psssh" sound on all faces). Even squirted a bit of 2 stroke in there to make sure.
Good spark (Tried 2 different sets of plugs and coils.) Unscrewed and block tested.
Fuel (Good pressure and I can smell gas coming out of the exhaust) It comes out of the plug ports when they are taken out.
I tried the de-flood method and no luck.
I checked all the injector plugs and they look correct too. Like I said, I am at a loss. This is my first rebuild, so please don't bash me, but I was meticulous about it and went through a couple of rotors and housing before I got it right. It seems I am missing something, any help would be much appreciated.
I can post a video if it helps.

Cool, that was my next step, but it has been crazy raining here the past few days. Just haven't had the time yet. Thanks for the suggestion!

Well, tow start was unsuccessful. I am determined to figure this out. I got one more thing to check before a pull the motor back out and that is the timing plate. It sounded like it wanted to do something in first gear but stalled as soon as I let off the gas and 2nd was a total no go. I am thinking I might have installed it backwards. Crossing my fingers that the excitement of it all caused me to be a little careless on the final steps of the install.
