I had a loaded CX-7 as a loaner during my recall. It had the manumatic crap and was neat for the 4 or 5 hours I had it. Then I was ready for my RX-8 again.

I felt weird sitting in traffic in this thing. I felt like I was on display sitting at red lights being so high up and all the untinted glass. I kept looking back to make sure there wasn't kids in the rear seats. I felt out of place by the time I was headed back to pick up my car and was glad to get it back.

That was probably the closest I'll ever get to owning a crossover/minivan. It's not a bad package and looks better than alot of it's competition but it's not for me.

Good luck and you can still keep reading these forums... I don't know if there's a CX-7 forum.

Being 32 yrs old, I think the sports cards days are gone until my mid life crisis hits at 45-50. I see a lot of the RX-8 in t CX-& which is why I think I like it so much. I have a Nav in my 8 but the Nav in the CX-7 blows it away. Plus the other bells and whistles int he tech package are top of the line. I don't see a minivan at all when I look at it. I will be having the windows tinted cause I know it will feel like a store front window when at a light or something.

Ciao

Ciao
Yeah, it took me to age 52 before I got back to driving a sports car. Now I can't bring myself to trade my 8.

A drive in a RX-8 convinced my girlfriend that sports cars are more fun to drive, we will have a 350Z and a RX-8 in the driveway very soon.
