05 RX-8 stalling when stopping after highway trips

I have an 2005 with 80k which keeps stalling after driving at high speeds when I come to a stop. This happened 4 times yesterday but then when driving in stop in go traffic at lower speeds it was fine. The first stall it wouldn't start back up for about 10 minutes.

Anyone else experience this?

Had a similar issue to yours, where I would drive it and then it would stall out at a stop light. Would then start back up again after sitting for a bit. Ended up being my coils being bad.

Had the same thing happen to me about a month ago. Is your engine light on? My coils were bad, too.

Coolant leaking into engine

Yes the CE light is on it is a P2096 code. Well, a few days ago it dies out again and as I was trying to restart the flip key broke in the ignition and it was my only key so I had to have it towed back to Mazda.

Today they gave me the bad news, coolant is leaking into the engine. My question is why would this cause the car to stall but only after high speed driving? Now the CE has been on most of the time since I got it last summer but the stalling didn't start until several weeks ago.

Also, the engine was replaced at 24k and it now has 80k on it.

How much longer before it won't run?

From my research ive seen the engine lasts between 150,000 k - 200,000k before ultimately dying on you.
