I always thought the exhaust tips on the RX-8 were small, but after I purchased my 07, they looked bigger than what I remembered so maybe I won't replace them. How large are the previous models?


Outer edge to outer edge is approx. 2-7/8" in diameter

My '04 has 3" OD tips. I just picked up some NICE slash cut SS 3.5" OD tips that should go right into place and look sweet. The car is out for paint right now so I won't have any pics for a few days.

looks like they're the same. 2.5 basically.

 

Get some new 4" tips put on. Now that you know your tips are small, it will drive you nuts when you look at your car from behind.

 

they are the same size, yours are just not dirty yet.

I just picked up the same tips, but 4". I am going to have them put on within the next week hopefully. I would love to see pics of your 3.5" compared to my 4". I think they will look great.
