Wow. That's cool. What was the verdict on Shinka for 2007? Special colors for 07?
EDIT: Answer my own question. Duh...

2007 RX-8 vs. other model years
Hello all,
I've been tracking this board very carefully and wanted to get your "assessment." Compared with the previous model years, do you think the 2007 MY will have most of the issues worked out, i.e., all of the TSB's and series of flash issues that the previous MY's had to deal with?
Thanks.

I stopped last week at a VW dealer that is also a Mazda dealer. The didn't have a single RX-8 on the lot and didn't plan on getting one anytime soon. They said they sold their last 3 '05s the week before and haven't bothered ordering any '06s or '07s. I found that shocking and didn't think a dealer could even get away with not bothering to carry a particular car from a brand they represent. I guess when it takes them 2 years to sell a new car they have a legit reason though.

Maybe people from your area just can't afford it...

That's the same with some of the NJ dealers. They only ordered one RX-8 most of the time usually a Sport Auto and once they sell that car they don't order any more bec. according to them the car doesn't sell. If you want an 8 from a dealer who doesn't carry they can always call up another dealer and get one for you. Besides dealers have to pay interest on the cars if they are not sold. No point keeping a car on the lot and keep having to pay interest on the car. Soon the car would have to be sold with a huge discount and for a huge loss for the dealer. Best time to get a car is when the car has been sitting on the lot for a long time (months) and the dealer is paying huge amount of interest on the car and are just waiting to get rid of it.
