Ten days ago I posted my first thread complaining about the 'brown' colour used in the 2tone interiors, saying it would prevent me from buying one (because I really wanted black!). After that, I continued to read on this site and a particular car, NOJOOC's blue 8, really blew me away and inspired me to reconsider.
Yesterday, I went and test drove a black 8 (full load GT, except for navigation), and today I bought it!!! The little things that previously bothered me (the brown and the extra door jam) just disappeared, as I spent more time with the car. I found the high revs (I'm used to a 5 liter) to be exhilarating, love the sound, and have never driven a car that handles like the 8. I live in Vancouver, BC, Canada, and paid $4600 under the sticker price, and thanks, to this site, am having new tailights installed before I take delivery (noticed some condensation in them).
I'm undecided as to whether or not I should lay down another $1500 for 2 more years of bumper to bumper warranty (I figure the powertrain is covered for 5 years and, hopefully, all the little things will be sorted out by then--any thoughts?
Glad to be part of the club!

BTW, if the extended warranty is a genuine Mazda one, you should be able to purchase it somewhere along the line, so worry about it when the normal warranty is about to run out.
If it's not a genuine Mazda one, be very wary of the terms and conditions since you could be stung later on when you try to make a claim.
