Thumbs up The 100k report!!

No, that's not a typo. It's been almost 3 incredible years and 100k Smiles with my titanium gray 8 and I couldn't be happier with it. This is my first rotary and I would buy another one in a heartbeat, but I want an S2k in the future . The car as with many of you, just hit all the right buttons for me. Sure its not perfect, nothing in this life is. The car has never left me stranded, flooded or had any other major issue with it aside from the minor recalls (i.e squeaky brakes, rusty rotors, taillight condesation etc. etc.) and regular maintenance. This is the car my kids are going to grow up in, until they're too tall to fit in the back seat I'm only 5'6" so that's probably going to be a while Enjoy your cars everyone and for those who don't know my car here it its

I think you need to take a pic of the odometer as proof. :D

Nice car!! Congrats!

I currently have 1/10th of your mileage on my titanium gray. Your report gives me much hope for my own car!

Keep on rotoring!

Thanks for the compliments to all. I love driving and blasting the radio to unknow territory. It's a hell of a lot better with the 8. The car is been all over Cali, from multiple trips down and up the coast, to the northern region, to yosemite, to recently Socal. So, the Smiles come quick.

Congrats. I'm curious to know how you've maintained the car over the past 3 years.

I get better MPG than you assuming that you reset your odometer every fill-up

What kind of maintenance schedule have you been on? that is, how often did you replace engine oil, tranny and gear oils, coolant flushes, brake fluids? How many sets of tires (and what kind) did you go through? How many brake pads and rotors did you replace?

tips, tricks, things to watch out for at certain mileage marks or periods?

I just crossed 8,000, so I have around 90,000 more to catch up! :D

The car's been given the suggested maintenance. I did upgrade the clutch and flywheel. Also, the starter is bigger and the battery was replaced at the 90k service along with the spark plugs and wires.

and Renesis SE3P I didn't not reset my trip meter, so that MPG is not at all accurate.

If you have a floor jack and and jack stands I wouldn't hesitate changing the oil as often as you want. I used the OEM tires until they were unsafe to drive around in. Those were replaced with yokohamas evs's, didn't like them all that much after around 8k miles. Those were replaced with Toyos T1R's and have used those until now. I'm curious to try some azenis rt16 when my current set wears out. The brake lines were upgraded along with Hawk HPS pads. I still have the OEM rotors, but I'm thinking of replacing those with 2 piece rotors.

By suggested, do you mean the 5k oil change intervals or 7.5k?

What kind of oil do you use?

What kind of driving do you do?

Do you redline often?

Congrats!

How often should you replace brake/tranny/gear fluids, etc?

And as far as replacing the rotaries, is that really necessary?

I don't see why an N/A Renesis wouldn't be able to hit 200k if there is nothing wrong with the ones at 100k. Mileage doesn't imply slowly crippling.

When did you get the MS kit btw? If you just recently did, your front bumper must of been chipped to hell...

Stay tuned, I also will hit 100,000 miles next month and will post my full maintenance log in a thread. I feel very much like Ever also
