Agreed. But it seems few understand this and drive in situations where the odds are slim that anyone else could be hurt. It doesn't take but a small rock to kill you going $125+ MPH.
And also, it is still irresponsible, even if your the only one who is at risk.
That being said... My car maxes out at 143 in 5th gear. Holy cow, what a rush.

careful.. the GT mustangs are fast.... but if u end up racing one, let them take the cake... but if u wanna win and them dead? take 1 corner.. and u'll likly have a totaled GT on the road.

lol well what i wanna do is see if I can get on this track near my military post. My friend owns the V6 Mustang and we just wanna race (but legal, he's gotten like 2 tickets already haha.)
Lol xsnipersgox that is true. He even said it himself. We raced on a 7 mile straight away. I don't speed like that ever but we closed off the road and did a couple passes to make sure it was safe... nothing like borrowing construction signs and cones haha.

I got mine up to 146 on a flat straitaway in 6th and still has 3500rpm to go, coolant light flashed at me other wise I would have pushed it to the limit. That was fun no one around just flyin' thought for sure my wheels weren't on the ground.

Oh, BTW street racing posts are against the forum rules.
One of our German members had his stock RX8 up to 155 on the Autobahn.

My speed limiter kicked in at 105.
I suppose it would have gone faster had I not lifted.
Anymore the sheer speed really doesn't do that much for me. Must be the age. But I still enjoy pushing the limits on the few twisty backroads in North Texas especially in the wet.
