130MPH in 4th Gear

. . . on the dyno. I finally got to dyno my car yesterday. It was fun, and I am satisfied with the results. The max power was 185.6 and the max torque was 132.8. I have the K&N intake, Greddy exhaust, and the RP Midpipe. I don't know if the mods helped because I've never dynoed before.

Sounds a bit off, what sort of dyno was it? With those mods I'd expect more HP..

HP might be lower but the important thing is the shape of the torque curve, please post your dyno sheets.

I don't have a scanner, but I'll try and take a picture of them with my camera.

why did you run in 4th? 1:1 is 5th. BTW, those numbers sound right.

yep, those numbers sound about right. And there have been a couple posts comparing 4th and 5th gear pulls, with very little difference. But they should be done in 5th, for the true 1:1 gear ratio as suggested by valpac.

From what I have read, people are using 4th as to not have so much heat build up getting to the 5th gear pull.

The dyno people weren't sure what gear to run it in. They ran it in 3rd twice, and they ran it in 4th once. I've never been to a dyno, so I had no clue what the proper gear would have been.
