1. sat in my buddy's Probe once, doubt it was a GT, all show, no go
2. hear that these are effin' quick, but have no opinion...
3. dunno
4. dunno, i'm NOT a truck guy...
5. dunno... just like it a lot
6. don't even know what that looks like in my head...
7. the power is alright, the torque is SICK... 5th gear was a BITCH though, such a reach to try and find it (IMO)... reverse felt, i dunno, kinda funny, always thought i was just finding 6th(IMO)... the interior is majorly lame... hate the airdam...
8. missed my chance at driving it! (damn!! i still think it's probably a good car tho)
9. :D probably the only car, other than an FD, or BMW, i'd really dream about having...
10. meh, the look is okay... dunno much about it...

So, did you pick those cars at random? I can't quite pick out the pattern. Not many of them would qualify in your search of cars with lower cost and less HP than an RX-8 though.

I'd go with the S2000... The WRX is just so much hype IMHO. The supra is a real desire to be sideways... other than that I'm not realyl gonna comment.

Fair enough. No, those cars are not random. Those are all the vehicles I like. Particularily that Lexus...mmm. I'm skeptical of what car I want, and frankly my ideal car will probably change in 6 months or a year!

I agree, the S2000 is a far better vehicle than the WRX. Unfortunately, it also costs about $12k more to buy one. The hype around the WRX is that you get a lot of performance for the money.

1. 1997 Ford Probe GT

3. 2002 Acura RSX Type S
4. 2003 Dodge Dakota R/T (I want an actual opinion, not put downs, please!)
5. 1999 Honda S2000
6. 1995 Lexus SC 300
7. 2002 Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V
8. 2003 Nissan 350Z
9. 2002 Subaru Impreza WRX
10. 1992 Toyota Supra Turbo...
1. I like the Mazda MX-6 better. Nicer exterior/interior. Better ride than the Probe GT, but it doesn't give up much in cornering. Sweet engine.
2. Fast, relatively expensive to repair, reliability so-so. Hard to find good examples used, as many have been driven hard an put away wet, if you know what I mean. Check it out VERY carefully if you are serious about buying.
3. Nice car. I'd buy one with no reservations. Put some better tires on it after you buy it: Stock Michelins are terrible.
4. Don't know anything about trucks.
5. Like the Talon, check this car out very carefully. Lots of drop-clutch starts at 7000 RPM will kill the driveline, and lots of people do it trying to match the acceleration number the magazines published. Great cars though. I'd love one.
6. Bulletproof but boring (easy to mod though, accepts all upgrades the Supra does).
7. Get a 2003. Read some SE-R forums... poor build quality the first year. Bad trannies, clutches, engines, etc. These are a great bargain in Canada though... excellend deal for $22k.
8. Wait for the RX-8. I like the G35 coupe better.
9. I'm a huge WRC fan, so I like the WRX a lot. Some days I think it would be better to go for a WRX since it'd be a better year-round driver with AWD. Go easy on the tranny though - its an old weak design not meant for 224 HP... read the forums. No drop-clutch starts for sure.
10. I like the RX-7 better. The Supra is heavy but awesome in a straight line. Hard to find.

yeah, nice wing too...

Someone on my street has a new Hyundai Sonata that is bone stock (that really sounds weird) except for one of those huge aluminium, adjustable, rear wings. I laugh every time the guy or his wife drives by.:D

I feel sorry for you, your neighbour and your neighbours dog. Although, he might be able to pee on that work of crap. And no, I wasn't talking about the dog.

Reminds me of a "neon sport" in my area that has a giant aluminum wing and the words "neon sport" in italic cursive lettering over a checkerboard pattern. I keep forgetting to take out my digicam though... probably since I'm blinded every time I see it.

Some of you may have seen this before- this is one of my favorite sites, even though it hasn't been updated in forever, it seems. I go every time I need a laugh (and every time I see the Geo Storm in our parking lot with "Quiet Storm" plastered across the hood and Bose stickers and some kind of tape that looks like paint decorating it):Click me!

It's too bad Brian quit updating that riceboy page. Here is a pick of me on his site. I have the white helmet on.

To be fair, I think Brian was a little harsh on the Diablo owner. I was the driving instructor.

:D , A classic site none-the-less. I'm sure an anti- *bling-bling* 22"wheel Escalade site is in the works. With enough cash and cosmetic surgery, I suppose any......ahh.....nevermind.

Time to be objective so I'll shelve my opinions. Carry on.

That is so funny. After I posted about the Hyundai last night, I remembered Brian's website and looked through the halls of shame again, myself. Definitely too bad it's no longer active.
