2 options unavailable w/ 6-speed

My dealer called yesterday afternoon to tell me the RX-8 I special ordered on 8-26-03 was "on the water" and to expect delivery mid->late November.

The 'all weather floor mats' and the 'shock sensor alarm upgrade' had been deleted from my order and both are now flagged as temporarily unavailable for ordering. There is apparently a problem with the shock sensor which is being re-engineered and the floor mats are stiff to the point that they stick up and interfere with clutch operation. These options have been deleted for any cars ordered or built since August.

Regards, Last_D8

I remember a member saying that he indeed was having problem with the all weather mats and clutch. I hope Mazda finds a quick fix for it.

The all weather mats suck. I got mine with them and took them out of the pass and back seats as I don't drive too many people. I kept the driver's one in until today when i noticed it started to crack and rip. They are not very nice and carpeted floor mats are pretty in-expensive to replace, so I pulled it.
