well i was chillin at the mazda dealer the other day and i was looking at the lil brochure for the 05's and i noticed the MT6spd 05's came stock with the LSD and CF drive shaft, i was wondering does my 04 MT6Spd come with the lsd and cf driveshaft or was a certain option needed to have it mine doesnt have the stability control or tcs but it does have the sport suspension (id be scared to see what the non sport would feel like) so if you know pass on the info

 

I've never had LSD in my car...i've heard that stuff can damage your brain!

 

The GT '04 had LSD (Limited Slip Differential) and the CF (Carbon Fiber) drive shaft.

I don't believe the low end had it.. the AT (Automatic Transmission ) do not have the CF drive shaft.

 

well i have the 6spd but i dunno what pkg i have. i know it has the sport suspension anything else i dunno but one thing i did notice when doing a doughnut it leaves 2 black marks :D is th3ere anyway i can find out does the driveshaft look kool like a cf hood or is it dry cf like the porsche carrera gt or Mclaren f1

 

your car has the lsd and carbon driveshaft. sport package and up have those features along with the HID's, sport suspension, larger brakes, 18" rims, DSC, and a couple of other things.

 

ok well my car doesn't have the apearance pkg, hid's, or the tcs, or dsc but it does have 18" wheels not sure bout the brakes though

 

damnit anyway of finding out all this info i asked the dealer but they are about as helpful as asking helen keller

 

The base 6SPD 04 RX-8 also has the LSD and the CF driveshaft.
