2005 Key

I have a 2005 key without the trunk delay. I push the button and it opens right away...well it has already lead to a dead battery once and I am wondering if I can get a new key with the delay under warranty. This might have been asked before but I couldn't find it.

Does any know first hand? I would love to get the new key instead. Thank you

Don't know if a new key is the solution. I heard there was a remote-trunk-opening delay in the latest flash for the car.

From what I know, the key was a different version in post April 2005 manufactured cars. I have the latest flash as of the recall.

Yeah, I knew about the TSB, and I want to get the key that has the delay...mine has no delay and it is annoying, so I was hoping to get one with the delay under warranty.
