2005 rx8 75k miles, should i buy?

yeah the whole ignition system is brand new. new plugs, new coils, new wires, and a new upgraded starter (not the 2007 model however, the upgraded 2005 one. It was the one that ended in an A or A1, somethin like that). And also a new yellowtop as well. Its just strange the way it starts when its cold. Once it catches, it revs up hard and sounds great, it just sounds like it has trouble spinning the fly wheel initially. Im wondering if I should invest the money into another upgraded starter (the 2007 one that apparently spins much faster I've heard).

Alright so heres where I'm at now, and I'd like to see what you all would do if you were in my situation.
The Zoom power that they performed on my car under warranty raised the compression barely above passing (ill have to get you the numbers), but 1 rotor failed the test and went up by like 2-4 psi which made it pass after the zoom power.
Now, directly after that, it actually did run a bit better. I noticed a low end torque difference, a more sensitive gas pedal, and 1 amazing warm start the day after. However, thats about as long as it lasted, 1 day. I feel like the car has gone back to normal now. And 1 day at a gas station about 4 days after zoom power, I had an 8 second cranking warm start. Would you guys bring this back for another compression test? or what would you suggest? I havent had a ridiculously long warm start in the past day or 2, but its basically just back to the way it was before they did zoompower.
Another thing I'd like your opinion on as well is, the dealer told me that if I ever want to have my engine replaced, I need to get rid of the current oil im using (Idemitsu rotary oil 10w-30) because its synthetic. Would Mazda really turn me away because I'm using an oil specifically designed for the rx8? I know its not in the manual, but hey its not our fault they didnt do more tests with synthetic. Granted, ok, Idemitsu oil is the equivalent to Mobil oil because all it is is a gas station in Japan, but Mazdatrix seems to like it, so I dont see why mazda would turn me away. The dealer said 1 startup could ruin the engine! (because they think the oil will not burn properly in the engine)

I guess I'll have to go out and get some GTX Castrol and change it before I go back sucks. Thought I was doin a good thing goin for the more expensive one. Will they be able to know I used synthetic if I change the oil?

These are my compression test results:
NO 1.
6.7KPA 97.175PSI (there was no RPM listing for the 1st rotor)
NO 2.
250 RPM 7.3 KPA 105.877 PSI
After zoom power:
NO 1.
6.8 6.7 6.7 98.625PSI
NO 2.
7.5 7.5 7.1 108.778 PSI
Is this an engine on its way out? Should I change my oil back to pure castrol (previously using idemitsu 10w30 rotary oil) and bring it back to mazda and ask them to do another compression test? They didnt persue an engine rebuild because they said the zoom power made the rotors show "significant improvement. But 2 days after the zoom power I had an 8 second warm start. Should I bring it back?

timmy, that's 3 threads now that you aren't actually reading recent responses in the thread before you post.
And for the record, you don't have a "2010 engine". The 2009+ is not compatible with 2004-2008 RX-8s without EXTENSIVE changes. Your bank account would have noticed the pain if you actually did have a 2010 engine. No, you just have a series 1 reman engine.

Okay, I confess to scanning across this whole thread and not reading piece by piece but you've all got me a bit mystified on the subject of oil weight. I always thought 5W20 was it, no questions asked but apparently not so. I live in Wilmington NC, the odd sub 32F in winter but generally mild winters and of course hot summers deep into the 90F's June-Sep. Have gone with the 5W20 so far ('09 rx8 sport - 42K miles) but should I be considering something else when the next service comes due? Thanks
