There will always be those who bag on AT drivers for ego boosting reasons, 6spd or 4spd.

The difference in performance will be noticed throughout the rev range. The 6MT is geared significantly shorter than the 6AT, so even if you only took the 6MT to 7500rpm (without a clutch dump) it would still walk away from the 6AT.
