I guess this info will come out in time.

nothing has changed on the 2006 MTs..

the 2006 ATs have both oil coolers

no changes to map(except of course those necessary for the new combination of high power with 6AT)

since it can flow more and make more HP it could be considered "bigger"

Most people's cars were delivered around 7-10 days after the date given to them when they ordered the car.

Not trying to burst anyone's bubble, just dont' want you to be all disappointed if your car isn't there on that exact date.

At this point it's not a big issue. I am working to solve my job situation first, so it can be a little late. However, when my job situation is fixed, I will be very anxious for it to get here.

I think I got over the disappointment when it wasn't here January 27 when originally quoted.

its not a pissing contest or a fight (at least not from my side) its an exchange of info

this https://www.rx8club.com/attachment.p...chmentid=60642 is a pic of the intake manifold of this 6 speed AT car https://www.rx8club.com/attachment.p...chmentid=60621 inside Mazda Tech Center in Irvine

I've also seen it and touched it. It's a 6 port. That's an easy oversight on a webpage.

I know! I bet that it would devolve into a civil exchange of info, and made 50 big ones!

Zoom44,

Not to highjack this thread but are you comfortable with the present level of cooling for the MT?

Did I forget to say I LOVE COPPER RED....
I saw an '06 Shinka today in person in what appeared to be the Copper Red. I'd pass. Now the interior looked nice but the car looked like any other 8 from the outside.

i agree, i saw the copper red in person on a '06 MX-5, and frankly i'd pick the velocity red over that red anytime
