2009 rx8?

im not sure if you guys have seen this but i was googling "rotary rx8" and i came across this

http://www.mazdaforum.com/m_30572/tm.htm

"Here's a comprehensive review on the 2009 Mazda RX-8, featuring lots of info, from design and performance, to history and competition of the RX-8. Also available is a photo gallery with the sports car.

"After almost eight years of production, the highly successful Mazda RX-8 will be reinvented in a completely new model. The original 2+2 doors coupe is expected to come with an all-new skin and refreshed “Zoom-Zoom” design in 2009. The dynamics are guaranteed to be better than ever for an RX model, featuring the latest generation of Mazda’s exotic Wankel rotary engine...." "

again im not sure if youve seen this i search 2009 on here and only found crap like 2009 basketball or 2009 football.

You guys remember what the design concept before the RX-8 was like? The sheetmetal almost looks nothing like our current cars. Good and bad though, that concept had some really cool design elements.

Honestly, the trend in automotive design seems to be going towards the "incomprehensibly complex" way. The 2008 Skyline went that way. The 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution went that way. Now the RX-8? Good ******* God. Who's designing all these new cars? He should be shot.

It's ugly. It has no sense of style. If I want a Lamborghini (mind you, this one looks like a Lamborghini minus the soul), I wouldn't buy the 2009 RX-8. I'd go buy a Lamborghini. Please Mazda. Don't **** this one up.

That was the RX-01, and other than being a MSP-RE engine really had nothing to do with the the RX-8.

That was to be the entry level RX-7 replacement. Mazda knew they screwed the pooch with the FD, and that was to be its replacement.
