Im glad I got the grand touring but the only reason I wouldnt want a base model is the homelink and the hid's.

dsc and traction are gay. Sometimes when my wife has to drive in the snow its nice to have but thats rare, I Always turn that **** off and have to sit there with a million lights all over the place.

the reason I havent started premixing also is because I heard it clogs your fuel filter faster and its a biotch to change.. couldnt tell you any truth to this

With the 3rd injector taking care of center of the seal on the '09+ models, I don't really think there's a reason to premix.

On the mechanical side of things...
Dipstick is easier to get to.
Oil filter is in the lower front of the engine.
MOP(metering oil pump) is gone, cold start issue seems to be solved.
Gas mileage is the same I believe, I got 18-20 city and 20-22 hwy.
Oil pan has a spacer between it and the engine and the engine(I believe) holds more oil now.

I would continue but I gotta go to work now., bye bye

I'm having trouble confirming that the 09 sport model has LSD. Can someone confirm this?

If you go to the overview of the RX-8 on Mazda's website, it lists the Limited-Slip Differential standard with the manual transmission on the Sport Model.

Got a new camera for xmas....waiting until I get the urge(kinda broke after xmas) to take out the white rx8 again until I take the camera to work. I am suppose to finish of some brand new straight from mazda japan 3rd gen rx7 motors from japan later this week though , I have to add the water pump/oil injectors and a few outside parts to them first, these will be labled as reman units but the few who buy them will actually be getting almost 100% brand new motors from mazda japan I just have to add a little american wrenching to them before they are put in inventory here.

We have been closed Dec. 24-today, nice of them to give us the same holidays as the high ups in LA.
