幹他媽!
what i read in C&D about the 2010 rx8:
- they're adding new color: Liquid Silver and dropping some less popular colors, so there will only be 4 color offerings total to simply exterior offerings.
- they're dropping the Touring trim altogether.
- they're only offering 2 variation colors of the leather: Red and Dune. (am assuming black is the standard color so that stays the same.)
i'll find the article later and u/l a ss if i can remember to...

Oh Yes.
Sure there will be a 2010 RX-8. They just recently made some redesigned changes to the body, and you will see Mazda riding it for (I'm guessing here) another 2 full model years before we see a complete new RX monster.
Similar to what Mazda did will the redesigned changes to the original Mazda6 and the Mazda3 They were around for 3 years before the new models came out. Mazda3 only for 2 years.
Also, 2 more full year models of the 8 will put the new RX car in about 2012, which seems to be the date that Mazda has "unofficially" said the new RX car will be out.
That's not that long in my opinion. Look at it this way, the more one waits, the more one saves money (providing of course that your 8 is paid for) Now wether it will be a hybrid Rotary, turbo, electric turbo.. who knows.! That nobody knows.
You know I'll be very curious as the WHERE in the development stages Mazda is with this new RX. I mean, the 16x Rotary seems to have been in the works for quite some time now. I wonder if they have a body by now and there are just simply working out the details for that 2012 model year.
C&D and Autoblog said Mazda wants to keep the new RX's prices on the low end also.
Well time will tell, but to answer the original question-yes no doubt there will be a 2010 RX-8
