Are you aware that there are people in this world that have a severe medical condition which causes them to be that way? My mother for instance is one of those people. She is a truck driver that has bad knees and a bad back from driving the truck but you probably do not care about that case either. Oh well I am not one of those people I am 6'4" 245lbs and I exercise every day. I would love to see you say something like to my mother in front of me. Probably never happen though you are probably just an internet tough guy. I doubt very seriously you would say that to someones face. Just my thought.What do you think. Oh I am sorry you probably do not have a brain. I on the other hand will be happy to buy you a plane ticket to come here and see if you have the nerve to say that to someone I know.

Looks a little odd without the Mazda emblem, but I could get used to it.. might take mine off now
Real shame they reduced the amount of colors, I'd still have totally loved to get a yellow 2009.. oh well, red's OK too
The black color is really sexy though, shame they took it out from the R3, seems like they want to push people into getting the GT.

I just had a look at the Mazda Japan website. Yes, the mazda badge is off there as well, and interestingly, no more red seats. The only choices are now black and beige. They havent reduced the color choices though. In fact looks like they might have added an ugly bluish greenish color to the line up (or at least it looks green on the computer).

Thanks for clarifying, zoom. But this reduction of colors, interior trims, adding on options as standard, etc is a sure sign that Mazda is phasing out the 8 isn't it?
Can we expect to see a new 'RX' in 2011? Or will there be a gap year and we see something in 2012? Any inside info, zoom?

It really is up to Mazda USA, they could import the White for example if they wanted to, but, have chosen to limit the colour range to 4, in Australia they still show most of the spectrum.
I have heard MY2013 is the year for a "New Rotary", so the RX-8 will be around somewhere in the world for the next 3 years.
I have this gut feeling Mazda are waiting to see the reliability of the RENESIS II, they have to have this engine right, they can not afford ANYMORE reliability issues or it will be bye bye.
I know I will be "shot" down by some here, but Mazda are loosing over $6K plus on each 8 that is reborn...they cannot sustain these losses....particularly in the world today.
