20B rx8 drift car for NZ

Just found this photo of the RX8 drift car recently built for 'Mad Mike' to compete in our D1 series . Will endevour to find out more . I have worked on this car when it was in the production class series last year but only just twigged it was the same car .

just found this link on the build . Aparently they tried it with the stock motor to start with and found it to be lacking .....

yeah, but mazda co. should want at least some sticker if the car is going to be seen by the public, i would think...

Yeah under the hood looks great, but watching the video...I get that the suspension is stiff, but the form looks off when he enters a corner bouncing like an old school stroller. Doesn't quite look right to me.

Sick to see mad mike in an 8, but that 26b FD will be missed. That thing was nuts, especially at WDC. It absolutely plowed through those barriers and didnt stop for anything.
