I typically get 260+ but I have switched to just 89 octane (florida sunoco) and seem to get around 280+/- now.

I once got 475 miles on my FD before I filled up, 100% highway cruising at 65mph on a 1100 mile trip... it made 27mpg that one time and still had some gas to spare in the 20gal tank

:p

I can't believe it!
Another mileage thread and yet again we a talking miles per tank??
I was once over 450 km and not empty yet and feeling good until I realized that I was looking at the B trip odometer instead of the A.

Mileage trends
Cold weather, mileage drops
Winter Gas reduces mileage
Stop and go traffic kills mileage

My best mileage was summer, mid 70s (20s), long trip, cruise control. 21 USMPG, 11.3l/100km
Worst mileage was winter, mid teens (-10), hiway traffic, city, short trips. 15 MPG, 15 l/100 km

I can give all those stats too, since I keep track every time I fill up the car- but saying I got 310 miles on a tank sounds much more impressive than saying I got 24 mpg.

I was hoping the 8 had the computer mgp feature that I have in my Jeep. I suppose I will have to keep a log book in the car. But I have seen only about 15 mpg so far with 93 octance. That is mostly around town and I still only have 620 miles on the car. I am sure that stat will go down now that I have hit the 600 mile mark at least for a while.

Well I had to fill up yesterday. I'm getting closer and closer to that 200 mile mark per tank. I hit 198.9 miles before I absolutely had to fill up. The needle was pegged. A majority of the tank was used on highway too I really don't mind the mileage but I'd love to see the numbers that the rest of you are getting....
