4 month wait for a body kit???

werd to therd.
glad you posted that. too many people on here dont understand how this works. I made that "WAITING FOR JDM" thread so people could see that EVERYONE has to wait, some more than others. Its all a luck of the draw. So many things can delay the shipment... primarily.
1 - The Japanese Company doesnt have the part in stock and is waiting for enough orders to make it.
2 - The boat ride over the ocean takes a while
3 - Customs can hold items for a LONG TIME.
#2 is the only gauranteed consitent time, everything else is always up in the air. Like i said before... if u cant handle that dont buy the real stuff.

first of all my main problem has nothing to do with waiting for the product, i mean sure who wouldnt wanna order a body kit and have it waiting at their door the next morning when they wake up. But i realize thats not the way things work. My main problem has to do with them telling me that the product will be here in 8-9 weeks. If it normally takes Japan 8 weeks to manufacture the product then why in the hell would you tell the customer that his/her product will be here in 8-9 weeks? and then you need to realize that i have been told three different times that my body kit would be here in two weeks. Now if they have no clue when the product will arive then why tell me some BS? Also, i am pissed because i was told that THEY would keep me up to date on my kit. Not once have i recieved a phone call from Hiro. Sam has PM'ed me on here, and that is why i am not mad/upset with him, from what i have dealt with Sam, he is a great guy. But if you are the owner of a company and you have an upset customer you would think that you would call and tell that customer that the company is working its hardest on getting me the product. however that has not been the case here!!! I realize that i havent waited nearly as long as other members and such, and im okay with that. My problem is them telling me things and then not following up on what they say. I mean this is the second day in a row, that Hiro has told me that he would contact me and i have yet to have a phone call from him on either day. Thats some horrible Customer Service if you ask me!!! And if you think that i havent called customs and complained to them you are wrong. I am good friends with one of Illinois main political figures and he too has contacted the customs agents...And actually the body kit is something critical because 4 months ago my dad hit a deer in my 8 so i am currently driving around with a broken front bumperr, driver side headlight, and messed up driver side fender. and i do have an idea what you have to go through to get these parts i am in charge of shipping Hyundai parts in and out of our shop here in St. Louis, so i do have an idea how stupid customs is. but mainly my problem as i have stated is that you guys tell me things and then you dont follow up on them, and because of that i am now at a loss, because you have told me before that my body kit would be here in two weeks, so twice i have gone to my body shop and scheduled a date, because there is only one decent shop in this area and there is such a line you need to set up a time to have your body kit put on, and twice i have had to pay a cancelation fee, because you told me some BS, now is that fair to me? i dont seem to think so. Once again i was told that my body kit would be here this weekend and considering the fact that my kit is still in customs i dont see that happening!!!
