40th ANNIVS - Sound off

Technically I think clear corners are illegal because the US requires an amber reflector but lite up amber at night, you can't really tell.
Definitely, I'm glad I bought when I did. The pre 2009's will be a rarer breed.

i didn't know about this thread, but I got a 40th anniversary edition in February and I love the car ^^
I prefer this red over the bright red on the regular models. I haven't had a chance to put any mods on yet and not really sure what i want done to it. I already like the sound of the stock exhaust and don't really care for the huge exhaust tips you see on so many civics...i guess really i'll just save up for a turbo kit...the stock equipment on the car aren't all that bad

1000 produced for the US Market. Unfortunatly, according to Mazda when I spoke with them via their company phone service line, there is no way to determain where yours sits in that 1000 such as 59/1000. There were no numbered badges attached to the car and other than the vin marking it as a 40th it does not mark what place in the run it was.

I personally like the amber side markers. From a personal taste thats just what appeals to me. I also use amber sides on my FD and opted for the amber when I had to buy a set to fit with a burnout kit that is going on the FD. I would however check your local laws or decide for yourself how **** the cops may be about the colored lights, would hate to change them, get ticketed and then have to change them back.

I like the clear lenses. Sticking with white lights in it, though. Talked to a couple cops, said white or yellow - no other colors.
Going with the Red Puddles. Put red and yellow stuff by car. Red looks nice. Can always change again if don't like, right!
Only heard from a few people here, so you must be 1st of that thousand......LOL
Thanks for input fikren. Enjoy those backroads!

Don't ruin the looks by putting some cheap *** colored lights on it. Reminds me of those cheesy colored lights people put on the washer fluid spray nozzles. If your not partial to the orange then go with clear corners. They look great on any color.
