I have driven 525K miles on 7 Rotary cars,Now I will Premix for the first time!
From what Mazda has been doing with its "TSB-MSP" and what I have read it seems like a simple and smart thing to do at this point. I also have changed to 5W30 oil. I have 35K on my 8 and can't wait till the 16X comes out with the three oil injectors and even more power and torque!

Huge hole is huge
I'm....confused. There are 7 engines that have 525k miles on them? I'm also guessing they were premixing? *Wonders where the 16X comes in*
Sorry, I'm genuinely confused lol...

Sorry I confused you...I have had 7 different rotary engine cars and put a total of 525K miles on them. Just now felt the need to premix.

You in the over 40 league, yes?
I pre-mix here... but only 6K on my '05 MT.

222,000 miles on a '72 RX-3 (12A)
premixed from 33,000 when I bought it, used.
Body rusted clean away, floor, doors, trunk, and finally doorsills, but motor still good and drove it to the scrapyard.

The Merc I bought for the wife on her birthday she had to have it. All I can say good about it is it was comfortable and got good gas mileage. I sold it after 52K miles on it. Not real reliable.

Speedy400 - I just read the link in your sig, I love the MX-5. That is the exact one I've been drooling over for the last several months. Tough to justify living in MN (and the wife has dictated that we will have a new kitchen before a 3rd car...) You been happy with it?

Wow, that's awesome. I've had two rotary engines before this one, and both of them are pretty high up there, one with 250k, the other with 175k *Not all done by me, of course*. They are some good little cars. They will always have a place in my heart.

I'm using MMO for my first time at PREMIX. It is easy because the Oz's are marked on the plastic bottle and it has a small neck and lid that fits easy into the gas tank opening.
