Are you referring to the slot that is there for business cards?

Thumbs up

Im glad to see that there are aged Rx8 owners. I'm currently looking for the "one" after weeks of persuading my wife that the car is family friendly and would be fine for my son in the back seat. Reading about the ops experience really helps assure me that this car is for me. Will be showing the wife this post when I get home tonight! Thanks!

I've had mine for 4 years and my girl is now 12.

We don't have a problem at all.

I can agree on the A/C being inadequate. Seems to me that once it passes 90 degrees, it never gets cool enough in the car. I think the fan needs to be 30-50% stronger on all settings. I've been in vehicles that would freeze your *** off even if you were driving on the surface of Mercury, so it's definitely a case of poor design.

Awesome write up.

You can show this post to your wife or just do what I did. I just came home in the RX8 and kind of forgot to tell the wife about it until she came home.

Better to beg forgiveness than ask permission!

One thing I did get for the kids are booster seats. They really can't see out the window very well without them. If the kids are any indication about the car, given the choice between the Tahoe with DVD players, or the RX8, they always pick the RX8.

hey im proud of the fact that i can fit both kids in the ir seats safely adn a weeks + worth of groceries in the trunk- you should see the jealous amazed and chagrined looks on the faces of the guys driving the minivans guarantee on the inside they are crying- at least the ones that arent visibly crying as they crawl back into their minivans.

and when people find out that my wife bought the car for me well some guys just lose it completely

Hey I can still log in.... so you got the joke - Take that Jedi!

I know the feeling actually; esp since my wife bought me the car too - lots of envy from the soccer dads.
